Warranty Policy – AGOOD.DESIGN
Effective from: 01/12/2023
1. Warranty Coverage
Products sold on the AGOOD.DESIGN interiors platform are covered by a Legal Guarantee as provided by applicable consumer protection laws. In the case of manufacturing defects or non-conformity with product descriptions, warranty responsibility lies primarily with the Manufacturer of each item, and is exercised according to the methods and timeframes defined by law.
2. Legal Guarantee Terms
Consumers must notify AGOOD.DESIGN Customer Service of any visible flaws or defects within 2 (two) weeks from the moment they become apparent.
Upon notification, the customer has the right to request a repair or replacement, in accordance with legal rights.
The warranty is valid for 24 months from the date of delivery, unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.
Warranty claims are processed only upon presentation of valid proof of purchase.
3. Professional Installation Requirement (When Applicable)
For certain product categories that require correct setup to function safely and effectively — including but not limited to:
Outdoor and indoor lighting
Electrical equipment
Home automation systems
Surveillance products
Other items requiring electrical or structural installation
— warranty coverage is only valid if the product is installed by a certified professional.
AGOOD.DESIGN may request one of the following during the warranty claim process:
A certificate of installation
A receipt or invoice from a licensed professional
Other credible proof of professional service
⚠️ Warranty claims for these categories may be rejected if installation cannot be verified or was clearly performed incorrectly.
4. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not apply to:
Products repaired, modified, or altered by the customer or unauthorized third parties.
Malfunctions caused by incorrect use, improper installation, or failure to follow technical guidelines and instructions.
Damage resulting from accidents, external forces (e.g. moisture, power surges), negligence, or abnormal use.
Consumables such as bulbs, batteries, or accessories, unless defective at the time of delivery.
Cosmetic damage or normal wear and tear.
Products with removed or tampered warranty labels or serial numbers.
5. Warranty Claim Procedure
Step 1: Contact Customer Service
Email support@agood.design with the subject:
“Warranty Claim – Order #[YourOrderNumber]”
Include:
Description of the defect
Photos or video evidence
Proof of purchase
If required: proof of professional installation
Step 2: Initial Review
Our team will review the claim within 10 business days and confirm whether the issue qualifies under warranty.
Step 3: Return Authorization
If the claim is accepted:
We will issue a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and instructions.
The product must be returned within 7 business days, in original or secure packaging, with all accessories included.
Step 4: Product Inspection
Upon receipt, the product will be inspected within 20 business days. If the defect is confirmed:
The item will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our discretion.
Step 5: Resolution
If the claim is valid, return shipping will be covered by us.
If not valid, the customer may request the return of the product at their own expense.
6. Legal Notice & Jurisdiction
AGOOD.DESIGN is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages resulting from product malfunction or misuse.
Unauthorized returns (e.g. without RAN or after the deadline) may not be processed and may be discarded.
This warranty is governed by the laws of Latvia, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Latvia.
